Acceptance of these Terms of Use

Inhaus Legal LLP (Inhaus, we, us or our) maintains a website at (Website) where it makes available information, articles, publications, data and other documents and materials, and functionality and services for informational purposes (collectively, Content).  These Website terms of use (Terms) govern your access to and use of the Website.

By using the Website, you acknowledge, understand and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (located on the Website and incorporated into these Terms). You must not access or use the Website if you do not agree to these Terms.

We may revise these Terms at any time and without notice. By using the Website you are deemed to accept the revised Terms. We are not responsible if, for any reason, all or any part of the Website is restricted or unavailable to you.

The Website, Content, the Inhaus name and logo, and all other names, logos, designs, images, graphics, artwork, video, music, marks, pictures, words, phrases and slogans displayed on the Website are owned by Inhaus, its licensors or other providers, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property Laws. Use of such intellectual property, except as expressly authorized by Inhaus is not permitted.

You may only use the Website for your personal and non-commercial use. You will not directly or indirectly reproduce, compile for an internal database, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any Content or copies of Content, in any form or medium whatsoever, except: your computer and browser may temporarily store or cache copies of Content; and a reasonable number of copies for personal use may be printed if you maintain all copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights notices. If third-party social media platforms link to Content, you may take such actions as our Website and such social media platforms permit.

You have no right, title or interest in or to the Website or any Content, and all rights are reserved by Inhaus.


You agree that we may collect, use, disclose, store and retain or delete your personal information on the Website as described in our Privacy Policy.

For your convenience, the Website may provide links to third-party websites. Use of any such websites is at your own risk, and we are not responsible for those websites or any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. Such links to third-party websites may include links to social media features that enable you to link or transmit Content on your own or using other third-party websites. You may only use those features when they are provided by us and only in respect of specific Content identified.

You may only link to the Website in a way that is fair, legal, and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not link in a way that  suggests any form of association, approval or endorsement by us, unless we have previously agreed to it in writing. The Website must not be framed on any other website. The website in which you are linking must comply with these Terms. The Inhaus Parties have no responsibility or liability for your use of the Website or Content. The Website and Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for use at your own risk, and together with any services or items found or attained through the Website, are without any representations, warranties, endorsements or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, or in respect of the completeness, security, reliability, suitability, accuracy, currency or availability of the Website or its Content, or that the Website, files, data or servers are free of viruses or other harmful components. Our disclaimer does not affect any warranties that cannot be excluded or limited under Law. You are solely responsible for your use of the Website and your computer, the internet and data security.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Law, the Inhaus Parties are not liable for negligence, gross negligence, negligent misrepresentation, fundamental breach, or damages of any kind, under any legal theory, including any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including, but not limited to, personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business or anticipated savings, loss of use, loss of goodwill, loss of data, and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract, breach of privacy, or otherwise, even if an Inhaus Party was advised or had reason to know, arising out of or in connection with your use, or inability to use, or reliance on, the Website, any linked websites or such other third-party websites, or any Content, even if an Inhaus Party was advised or had reason to know.


To the fullest extent permitted by Law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Inhaus Parties from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), arising out of or relating to your breach of these Terms or your use of the Website, including, but not limited to, third-party sites, or any use of Content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms.

Law and Forum

The Website and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the Province of Ontario and federal Laws of Canada, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision, principle or rule (whether of the Laws of the Province of Ontario or any other jurisdiction), and notwithstanding your domicile, residence or physical location. 

Any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to the Website and these Terms must be instituted in the courts of the Province of Ontario or the Federal Court of Canada, and you and Inhaus irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts in any action or proceeding. You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to the venue of such courts.


No failure to exercise, or delay in exercising, any right, remedy, power or privilege arising from these Terms operates, or may be construed, as a waiver. No single or partial exercise of any right, remedy, power or privilege under these Terms precludes any other or further exercise of that right, or the exercise of any other right, remedy, power or privilege.

Any invalidity, illegality or unenforceability of any part of these Terms, will not affect any other part of these Terms or invalidate or render unenforceable the same part in any other jurisdiction.

These Terms constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Inhaus regarding the Website and Content, and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations and warranties, both written and oral, respecting each of them.
