Shaunik Katyal is the Managing Partner and a Co-Founder of Inhaus Legal and a corporate and projects lawyer who helps growth-focused companies tackle their toughest legal and commercial challenges. Blending private-practice rigor with senior in-house perspective, he delivers practical, business-minded counsel that helps clients move faster and act with confidence.

Shaunik began his career in corporate securities at a large national firm before building his in-house foundation at an international mining company and a global engineering and construction firm, guiding leadership through the legal and commercial complexities of large-scale, high-stakes projects. That experience spans mining, industrial, and infrastructure-and now extends to telecom and health-tech-across corporate governance, commercial contracting, and end-to-end project execution, making him a trusted advisor who is equally at home in the boardroom and in the field.

Selected Experience

• Managed multiple bids for Regional Express Rail (RER) Projects on behalf of a large contractor.
• Provided strategic advice on proposals, studies and services relating to EPC and O&M Agreements.
• Led all legal and commercial matters for $1B LSTK Sulphuric Acid & Power Plant Project in Saudi Arabia including: consortium agreement with Chinese construction partner, contract negotiation and compliance, project cash position and material take-offs.
• Lead Canadian counsel in all legal matters related to complex “Ring of Fire” project including corporate, M&A, EPC agreements, joint venture agreements, mining, land claims, litigation, indigenous affairs, real estate, employment, intellectual property and environment.
• Participated in numerous large-scale merger and acquisition transactions, corporate finance offerings and continuous disclosure mandates.
